The summit elevation of Mount Everest stands as the highest point on earth at 29,029 feet above sea level. 29029 Everesting challenges participants to find their Everest by hiking up a mountain until they reach 29,029 feet! Though the challenge is simple, the journey is life-changing. Over the course of the 36-hour event, participants push themselves to conquer the mountain and ultimately, to conquer themselves. 29029 is not a race. It is a ‘you vs. you’ challenge built on a foundation of a community of like-minded individuals seeking to become the best versions of themselves.
Volunteers are a critical part of the 29029 community! Some of the most impactful experiences participants have on the mountain are created by the high-fives, support, friendship and encouragement from a volunteer.
